The world's longest art exhibit

Stockholm's metro has been called the longest art exhibit in the world. Several of the stations are left with the bedrock exposed, crude and unfinished, or as part of the decorations. At the Rissne station, an informative wall fresque about the history of Earth's civilizations runs all along both sides of the platform.

Cow Abduction

"It's a serious problem. Countless bovines have disappeared from dairy farms everywhere. And the numbers of missing cows are on the rise. A rapidly growing collection of alien cow abduction evidence and documentation has been posted...."

What a great campaign...

First we were shown the Planetinneed site and now we have yet another cool site to support the successful GOT MILK? (USA) campaign.

Apparently the creators of this new campaign got inspired by actual reports linking extraterrestrials to cows, what in my opinion makes it even cooler.
This campaign, developed by one of my favorite agencies - Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (San Francisco) - consists of television advertisements (30second TV spots) along with the promo sites. The campaign aims to highlight the milk's multiple health benefits beyond just a calcium source, therefore the extraterrestrial being in search of milk's wonder-tonic properties.

I highly recommend a visit to both websites:
cowabduction.com
planetinneed.com

Animator vs. Animation

Animation by Alan Becker.
Absolutely wicked.

Promo animation from the creators of Altoids

WDDG promise their new website is coming up soon.
They have used really shitty low res jpg's, bad cut outs, annoying copy and bad graphics.
Not something new but hadn't seen it for a while. It works, it's funny.

OOOOOOOUCH

Oooooouch is one of them little sites that puts a grin on my face. Great simple idea. fun and not difficult to produce. It's all in the ideas they say. I couldn't find out who did it though.. ??

Interact, play, experience..

10 WAYS is an experimental project which studies different ways of interpretating an image.
Five agencies/designers collaborated with Getty Images to create ten truly interesting interactive experiments involving light, information (probably my favourite one), memory, space, emotion, color, truth, time and transformation.

Mother Nature fights back

I think I've seen similar concepts before but I will still put my thumbs up for this one. PRO WILDLIFE is an independent non-profit organisation, based in Germany and recognised as a charity committed to protecting the world's wildlife from over-exploitation, habitat destruction and abuse.

The Extreme Diet Coke & Mentos Experiments

This was such a crazy idea and I love it. Looks pretty.
I wonder what those two guys at EepyBird.com are coming up with next.

Yutaka Loves London!

Nice site done for Virgin Atlantic USA by Delete London. It features the sort of things that I would recommend to a mate of mine to do/visit if he/she was visiting London for the first time. I might just send them this site from now on...

"It's not happening here but it's happening now"

Amnesty International is a worlwide human rights organisation. Their new great campaign poster ads (transport billboards) address issues in Iraq, China, Liberia, Sudan and Myanmar uncovering, documenting and making public abuse of human rights.
"It's not happening here but it's happening now" it's the tagline for this campaign (shown in different languages) which was created by the advertising agency Walker Werbeagentur Zuerich in Switzerland.
Beautiful.

Bloooody addictive game!

I'm not usually into playing games on the internet but Dad'n Me is a funny game..
